A.I.Bandsaw Welding Machines have been designed and developed in cooperation with bandsaw blade manufacturers to meet the present and future needs of the industry. The simplicity of operation enables the equipment to be used by service personnel with the minimum of instruction and experience.
Two models are available, rated at 5kVA and 10kVA, selection being determined by material composition and blade size. Present blade width range is 1.25mm to 65mm.
WELD PARAMETER ADJUSTMENTS calibrated for ease of setting.
GAP GAUGE to facilitate positioning of blade ends centrally between welding dies to ensure equal heating of the component ends during the welding cycle.
CONSISTENT VERTICAL ALIGNMENT of blades is maintained by use of hardened steel lower dies. Guide bars maintain lateral alignment.
DIE CLEANING by quick release mechanism opening gap between left and right hand heads.
WELD CONTROL by means of precision profiled cam ensuring consistent flashing and forging. Infinitely variable welding speeds with acceleration.
TRANSFORMER SWITCHING by solid state thyristor contactor giving accurate control of current during flashing and forging sequences.
AUTOMATIC POST HEATING of weld by phase shift and sequence timer.
